OneTable is an organization with a powerful mission, helping local Jewish communities come together and grow. A core component of their offering is a platform that allows individuals to attend and host Friday night dinners.
OneTable came to us for help designing their platform. Their intention was to not only build a platform that their users would love, but also design it to function as a white label solution they could sell to other organizations.

Although this was not a branding project, we always begin with a brand evaluation. OneTable did not have a strong web presence or brand guidelines, and so it was important to survey the market and gain a broad understanding of where the brand sits within it, how they can best communicate their mission and values, and the feature sets their users would expect.
The brand attributes we defined to be Community, Connection and Empowerment—these were the touchpoints the team desired to hit with the platform functionality and design. The North Star (overarching objective) was then defined as OneTable Brings Us Together, providing us with focus as we continued into the design phase of the project.
Before moving into high fidelity design, we began the next phase with designing a comprehensive set of wireframes and UX guidelines. This allowed us to craft the platform's feature set and functionality without the distraction of visual design. Our team provided OneTable with guidance on best practices and user acquisition and retention strategies, earned from years of experience designing award-winning apps.
Once wireframes were approved, we moved into visual design—defining the color palette, typography stack, UI style, and custom iconography. We designed the public-facing landing page, new user onboarding, booking engine, host management functionality, and so much more. We then helped manage their internal dev team as they implemented the new platform functionality and design.
